Duo Stiehler/Lucaciu stand for a unique fusion: classical music meets jazz, comedy blends with pop – a musical journey between calm introspection and joyful outbursts in your seat. Following a sold-out tour in 2024 and a successful collaboration with the MDR Symphony Orchestra, the duo now presents their new live album. Right after the concert at the Bach Monument in Leipzig, the album will be recorded and produced at one of the world’s most renowned studios – Abbey Road Studios in London – by Grammy Award winner John Barrett.
Sascha Stiehler (piano, synthesizer) and Antonio Lucaciu (saxophone, vocals) met over 21 years ago at a youth music competition and have been not only musical partners but close friends ever since. Based in Leipzig, they are among Germany’s most acclaimed musicians, having performed with artists such as Clueso, Daniel Hope, Max Prosa, Elif, and Günther “Baby” Sommer. Their appearances include major television shows such as Tagesthemen, Inas Nacht, and Late Night Berlin. In 2025, Duo Stiehler/Lucaciu will tour across more than 23 theaters, clubs, and concert halls in Germany and Austria.
