Short-term program change!
Due to known reasons (temporary funding), the concert with Miriam Netti & Band unfortunately cannot take place. The replacement concert will be performed by Robert Herrmann on piano.
Miriam Netti is a talented jazz singer, songwriter and composer originally from Italy. Now based in Berlin, she has carved out a distinctive space in the jazz world, blending her Mediterranean roots with a modern and expressive jazz style that captivates audiences.
Her music instantly evokes images of sun, sand, and warm southern nights. Inspired by Milton Nascimento, João Donato, and João Bosco—whose lyrics she translates into Italian—Netti’s voice never overshadows her band, but blends into it as an equal, as if it were the fourth instrument.
“With refined and elegant expression, Miriam’s music and voice are a blend of Latin American styles, brought to life through the language of bossa nova, jazz, and Italian songwriting.” —Alessandro Blasetti, producer of Gianni Morandi.
Over the years, Miriam Netti has released five albums, showcasing her range not only as a singer, but also as a composer and songwriter. Each of her projects is marked by her ability to tell stories through expressive melodies and heartfelt lyrics, whether interpreting jazz standards or presenting original compositions.
