Claudio Constantini
Claudio Constantini ist Pianist, Bandoneonist und Komponist. Als Virtuose verbindet er klassisches Musikrepertoire mit zeitgenössischer Innovation, wechselt mühelos zwischen Bach, Beethoven, Piazzolla, Tango, Filmmusik und Jazz. Mit seiner Vielseitigkeit bringt er eine frische, moderne Perspektive in die Instrumentalmusik für sein Publikum.
Er trat in renommierten Sälen wie der Wigmore Hall London, dem Teatro Real Madrid oder dem Wiener Konzerthaus auf und spielte mit Orchestern wie dem Wiener Staatsopernorchester oder der Real Filharmonía de Galicia. 2019 erhielt er eine Latin-Grammy-Nominierung für sein Album „America“. 2021 wurde sein eigenes Bandoneonkonzert uraufgeführt – u.a. mit dem Philharmonischen Orchester Málaga und der Tacoma Symphony (USA). Seine Kompositionen erreichen ein Millionenpublikum auf digitalen Plattformen.
Johannes Lang
Johannes Lang (*1989 in Düsseldorf) studierte Kirchenmusik, historische Tasteninstrumente/Cembalo sowie Konzertfach Orgel an der Musikhochschule Freiburg. Er wurde bei zahlreichen Orgelwettbewerben ausgezeichnet, u.a. mit dem Publikumspreis beim ARD-Musikwettbewerb 2011 und dem 1. Preis beim Leipziger Bachwettbewerb 2012.
Nach Tätigkeiten als Kirchenmusiker in Freiburg und als Stadtkantor in Lörrach war er A-Kantor an der Friedenskirche Potsdam-Sanssouci sowie Lehrbeauftragter für künstlerisches Orgelspiel, Improvisation und Cembalo am Institut für Kirchenmusik der Universität der Künste Berlin. Im Januar 2022 wurde er in das Amt des Leipziger Thomasorganisten eingeführt.
Ein Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit liegt auf dem Continuospiel nach historischen Quellen sowie der Improvisation. Johannes Lang ist Honorarprofessor für Orgel an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ Leipzig. Tätigkeiten als Juror, Dozent, Rundfunk- und CD-Aufnahmen (u.a. In the Spirit of Bach) sowie eine Ausbildung als Glockensachverständiger ergänzen sein künstlerisches Profil.

Claudio Constantini is a pianist, bandoneonist, and composer. As a virtuoso, he blends classical repertoire with contemporary innovation, effortlessly moving between Bach, Beethoven, Piazzolla, tango, film music, and jazz. He has performed in prestigious venues such as London’s Wigmore Hall, Madrid’s Teatro Real, and Vienna’s Konzerthaus, and has played with orchestras including the Vienna State Opera Orchestra and the Real Filharmonía de Galicia. In 2019, he received a Latin Grammy nomination for his album America. In 2021, his own bandoneon concerto premiered, performed by the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra and the Tacoma Symphony (USA), among others. His compositions reach millions on digital platforms.
Johannes Lang (*1989 in Düsseldorf) studied church music, historical keyboard instruments/harpsichord, and concert organ performance at the University of Music Freiburg. He has received numerous awards at organ competitions, including the audience prize at the ARD International Music Competition in 2011 and first prize at the Leipzig Bach Competition in 2012.
After working as a church musician in Freiburg and serving as city cantor in Lörrach, he held the position of A-Kantor at the Friedenskirche Potsdam-Sanssouci and lectured in artistic organ performance, improvisation, and harpsichord at the Church Music Institute of the Berlin University of the Arts. In January 2022, he was appointed Thomasorganist in Leipzig.
A focus of his work lies in basso continuo playing based on historical sources, as well as improvisation. Johannes Lang is honorary professor of organ at the University of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig. His artistic profile is complemented by activities as a juror, lecturer, radio and CD recordings (including In the Spirit of Bach), and training as a bell specialist.
