The opening concert of the Concerts at the Bach Memorial 2024 brings the music of Johann Sebastian Bach into dialog with our current times.
Baroque works with reinterpreted basso continuo, avant-garde electro sounds and free improvisations – when saxophonist Johannes Enders, Christina Bock (with her classical singing/looping) and jazz pianist Florian Kästner come together, musical intermediate worlds are created. The piece of music turns into a crossover between the classical and jazz worlds.
The musicians of the project “Bach-Moments” are explorers who create new colours of sound. Welcome and come join the ride in a very special concert experience.
