The Mississippi River Brass Band is a 28-member band populated on the instrumentation of the traditional British Brass Band. The instruments of the band are cornets, Flugelhorn, Euphoniums, baritones, trombones, tubas and percussion. The band is composed of some of the finest brass players in the United States. The members come from all parts of the US for goodwill touring throughout Europe. Many of the band members hold advanced performance degrees from major universities on their instrument. The band has helped raise thousands of Euros to benefit the charitable causes of Rotary Clubs in Germany and Poland.
The band’s conductor, Dr. Jack Stamp, is known throughout the world as a conductor and composer of band music. When not conducting the Mississippi River Brass Band he serves as a guest conductor and music clinician for bands throughout the United States.
